Is there a fungus on my fingertip?

On the pad of the tip of my right middle finger there is a patch of hard, peeling skin. It always looks a little wrinkled and is less sensitive to touch than my normal fingertips. When soaked in water, the skin doesn't wrinkle like my normal fingertips do, but the very tip of that finger (which isn't hard or peeling) wrinkles normally. It doesn't itch at all, but if I try to pick off the peeling skin I immediately hit the dermis so it hurts for a few days until the epidermis forms again. This has been this way for a few weeks. So far, it hasn't spread to any of my other fingertips and none of my family has complained about similar symptoms. Any clue as to what this is?

How do I know if my abdominal pain is serious or not?

This morning I woke up and laid still for a while, and then turned over and stretched and immediately thought I had pulled a muscle or something. I got up and went to the bathroom, and whenever I flexed or moved my stomach, there was intense pain. It got worse, and I laid down and for a while it hurt even when I was laying still. The pain was mostly on my lower right side and was more wide spread. Now it's more in the middle in a concentrated spot, but my right side still is achy. It was sort of radiating from my belly button earlier but now it's just in that one spot right in my pelvic area. If I press down on my right side where my appendix would be and let up it doesn't hurt, but if I press in the middle in that spot where the pain is mostly now, there is considerable pain. I think it could possibly be appendicitis, and I have heard of people's appendix bursting and it wasn't unbearable pain and they thought they had just pulled a muscle. But I'm thinking that it might just be gas, because I love refried beans : ) and have eaten them for lunch the past two days. I have had severe pain in my chest before and thought I was having a heart attack or something, but it always was just really bad gas. I am already over my period and everything so it can't be that. So I don't know if I'm just being paranoid or what. I guess I'll just wait for a couple of hours and see if the pain gets worse, but until then, any words of wisdom?

Okay, here's the thing. I was going to see my girlfriend the other day. See, we just had a huge screaming fight and I wanted to make it up to her. I bought her a necklace, candy that she loves, and a ring. I was so nervous though. I went to my ex's house first to ask for advice. She told me to be very confident and to be very apologetic. I heeded her advice and went over to my girlfriend's house. I saw her ex walking from her house, so I figured I'd ask if he was with her. He said "yes, but she doesn't want to see you. I don't want you to either." I told him I wasn't and I walked in another direction. Once he walked away, I walked again to her her house and rang her doorbell. She answered and immediately broke down crying. I consoled her and told her that if I could go back in time, I would punch myself to stop myself from yelling at her. Well, it turns out her ex bf was following me. Well, I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-air." I Begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket. I put my walkman on and said "I might as well kick it." I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said "fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab was rare, but I thought "naw forget it." "Yo homes to Bel-Air!".I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabby "Yo homes smell ya later" I looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

I'm trying to decide on a name for an e-product I'm putting together explaining how I make a good extra income reselling specialty items I find at auctions, yard sales, other local sellers, etc. It will chronicle from start to finish how I find, research, buy and resell items to put a pretty good amount of extra money in my pocket, but I'm not sure of a good name. How much time does a person have with stage 4 esophagus cancer?

My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, it has spread to his upper back, in his right lung and his lymph nodes.. The doctor says it is terminal, but they have given him chemo and radiation to help shrink the tumors (the tumor in his esophagus has completely blocked his esophagus and he now has a feeding tube).. He really hasn't told me how much time the doctor has given him, and I would like to know.. I am enjoying every minute I have with him just as if it was the last day.. What do you think??

Am I a loser because i'm 20 and live at home?

I really don't have any friends, after highschool every one went their separate ways. I went to a university for a semester, hated it, it was all a bunch of hippies, hipsters, and partying... took a semester off, to work. Nephew faking shoulder injury to get out of deployment?

My nephew, who is a marine, claims he received a rotator cuff injury a year ago while on his last deployment. He has had it looked at by military doctors, who claim there is no major injury. Recently, he went to a civilian specialist, who gave him a written diagnosis that he needs to have rotator cuff surgery immediately. My nephew is due to deploy to Afghanistan within the next month and now believes he won't have to go because he has this 'excuse' from a civilian specialist. He plans to have the civilian specialist perform the surgery and then go back to his hometown to take convelescent leave for the next several months. I have never known anyone with a rotator cuff injury, but it appears to me that he has full use of his shoulder and he doesn't appear in any pain. I've seen him lift his 3-year old daughter and put her on his shoulders without a wince. Would this be possible if you had a rotator cuff injury. I should also note that the civilian specialist he saw is a 'friend of the family'. This kid is a piece of crap and has cheated the system his entire life. It's all he knows how to do. I am hoping this time, karma kicks in and he gets his due diligence. Will the military heed the excuse from the civilian specialist and not deploy him? Will he be able to get several months of convalescent leave? Will the military allow a civilian surgeon to perform surgery while he is in active duty? Please tell me this kid is going to get what's coming to him!

What are your favorite books?

Blue Highways by William Least Heat Moon. It chronicles his journey around the country following the lesser used blue highways on the map. They take you into the heart of America; small towns, real people, interesting sights you would miss by taking busy highways, etc. I have driven across the country twice and drove on many blue highways. The pace is slower, the scenery is wonderful, and the experiences were memorable! You don't have to travel around the country. Just get a map of your state and travel the blue highways and find out for yourself and about yourself!

I would well read that book! Im really into myths and history things in novels, and so are many other people I know! If you wrote and published that, I'd probably spend about �14 on it :) Please, go ahead and write it cos it will be a success if its done just right! You could turn it into a series of books, like where you spread the story over three books? Each book would be about 300 pages long :) I'd say over all there would be three books with your story in it. That way, the reader isn't overwhelmed and put off by a book with masses of pages (as most people wont buy a book if its like really thick) and it will result in more profit for you if each book was priced at even �10 :) Good luck! Moving in together after a year and a half long distance relationship bad idea?

It could work fine, it could be a complete disaster. Going from one extreme (long distance, seeing each other every few months) to another (living together) can be a shock. You will go from these very long breaks where your desire for each other grows daily, to not being able to get a break at all as you will sometimes feel like you are together all the time. It would be better if you could ease into it, like moving into the same area and seeing each other regularly for a little while before moving in together....but if that isn't an option, then do what you feel is best.

Good Fantasy/Romance Anime?

Utena Tenjou is one of my favorite. Its romance and comedy. Plus they have a cute little monkey pet in there named momo and at the end of every book/episode he has his own cute little minisode. Great on action and fantasy as well. Another one is Fruits Basket. It deals with the animals of the zodiac and there is a family called the shomo family who all have mystical powers and transform into these animals. My favorite is the cat because they tell the story of how the cat chinese zodiac was tricked into not comming to the banquet so he was never really put into the zodiac but he still has the chance to redeem himself. It also centers around a girl who is in a love triangle with the cat and the rat so its also comedy being that they are natural rival enemies. Definatley those 2 series are my favorite.

Skin colored small bumps all over my body, very itchy!?

I started having these skin colored, very small bumps (that arent easy to be seen unless ur up close ) on my neck and eventually the spread to my chin and now there on my chest and my upper thighs and alittle bit on my arms....there really weird and itch really bad ! There not red except for one little patch on my leg but the rest are all skin colored...? Most of them are not in patches. There spreading very quickly as well. Not a great deck unfortunately, you do not have near enough creatures for one. You should always have 4 each of creatures (except for the Wrexial, 2 is appropriate). Only having one copy of most of your spells isnt a good idea because when you need them most, you are unable to draw them.

I've met all kinds of Christians and all kinds of atheists.. The only difference I've seen is that gay Christians are sad and gay atheists are happy. My parents like my girlfriend and she likes them, my best friend is very sociable etc. There will be food (burgers hotdogs etc). Any ideas on how to make this a great time? I Dont Know Whats Wrong With Me ?

I am a 19yr old male who is sexually confused. Growing up I had made out with a few guy Friends for fun but kind of liked it. I didn't know why at the time since I was only 7. When I got older I started liking girls and had my crushes on many. I think that anyone entering into another country to live, should try to adopt same cultures as that country. There seems to be a lot of people coming into this country unwilling to learn the English language, I am upset by this because I am now forced to learn a different language to keep my job. Hundreds of millions of car accidents; hundreds of planes falling from the skies, countless fires, complete world economic crash; mass panic and paranoia; loss of utilities; devestation at worksights and in almost every industrial complex in the western world and beyond; doctors pulling babies out of mothers who disappear; hospitals in panic; people disappearing by the millions on live tv; collapse of businesses around the world, etc. This would be the greatest catastrophy to ever strike the earth- equal to the Apocalypse itself. And it would be the single most explained event in Scripture besides Christ. However, it's not; neither are the results of this "rapture" mentioned anywhere in Scripture. Paul warned about not being deceived about a secret rapture of Christ, foretelling all that must come first before we see Christ coming in the end of the Apocalypse (see 2 Thes. 2:1-8). And who do you think it is that is being beheaded for the testimony of Christ if the Jews are sealed!! And why do you think Scripture says that many of those who were killed would have to wait until their fellow servants are killed by the Beast too!! Did God rapture the first covenant people from Egypt, or did they witness the plagues? Did He lift all the animals into the ark, or did He call them by His Spirit? Has He ever saved in the manner Christians imagine? No!! He gave warnings for them to heed to protect them as they stayed on earth. Wake up rapture believers!

How do I incorporate these colors into my room?

Hey I'm going to be redecorating my room but I don't have a solid theme. My walls are a cream color with a black floor boarder. I love bright neon colors and some animal print. Im getting a new bed that is low to the ground and full sized and I am not sure what kind or bread spread i would get. I do make my bed everyday so the decorating is important. Im thinking of making some round pillows that have white or black fur/fuzz on the front and neon color fabric on the back. I did a little online research and found out the effective solution is to bait ants with a sweet and a poison so that the poison will spread to other ants/the source. After that, I cleaned out a Windex bottle and put sugar water, honey, and bleach into it, shook it up and sprayed it on my lawn. Fleas in my bed I need to rid of them!?

So my cat regularly gets treated for fleas but she still has them. I didn't realise she was spreading fleas around my room until it was too late. When i sit at my laptop they jump at the screen. When I was eating one tried to jump in my bowl then my face. I also find them on my legs and hands and when I get in bed I develop small itchy rashes with a lump that looks like a stinging nettle sting meaning I have probably been bitten. My mum sprayed my room with flea spray and hoovered and it didn't work. How am I supposed to get rid of them? I'm fed up with them jumping at me and biting me!

Stage 4 breast cancer. Is there hope?

A close friend of mine has stage 4 breast cancer. 3 months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer but since then it has spread to her liver and it's now considered stage 4. Infected lymph node in groin?

I have suffered with cysts in my groin for months. I told my doctor as I had began to suffer with them behind my ears and on my face. He gave me a course of antibiotics and said if that doesn't work then there's not much else I can give u. Next to the cyst in my groin a long lump appeared and I thought the cyst had spread into a vein. I left it for about a month but then it became hard inflammed and very swollen. The doc has said I'm on a strong course of abtibiotics which I began on wed. For tge last week u have felt terrible. No energy, tired, a bit queezy and have the feeling that I'm losing my mind amd am not really here...if that makes sense! Three days in the infammation has gone down but the lymph is about an inch long and hard...will antibiotics get rid of.it or do I need to be worried that its cancer?
